2022 Pro Bowl Community Events In Las Vegas

The NFL plans to host various 2022 Pro Bowl community events in Las Vegas

With the 2022 Pro Bowl taking place this weekend at Allegiant Stadium, the Pro Bowl community events in Las Vegas will be held throughout the week to bring a more positive impact and spirit to the thousands of local children. Events include everything from flag football to greening projects and park refurbishment.

The Pro Bowl community events kick off on Wednesday, February 2 starting with the NFL Green Wetlands Restoration Project and Pro Bowl legacy press conference. Working aside students and community volunteers, the NFL and Clark County will revitalize sections of the Clark County Wetlands Park by planting 1,200 trees and native plants to enhance air quality, create wildlife and pollinator habitat, and reduce wildfire fuels.

Partnering with Comp-U-Dopt, the NFL and the Latin Chamber of Commerce Nevada, Inc have provided laptops, tech support, and a curriculum for digital literacy for more than 200 families. As part of the NFL Foundation’s Inspire Change Huddle Legacy Program, the event will help those in need to climb over educational obstacles, like those who learned English as a second language.

The festivities of the Pro Bowl community events continue into Thursday with Pro Bowl Community Day where NFL Legends will participate in hands-on activities with the local youth. Together they will work to restore Wells Park by planting plants, painting over graffitied picnic tables, and contributing to a community mural outside the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada.

NFL athletes won’t be the only ones competing this weekend as the top 8th grade players from the American Youth Football have an All-Star Game of their own on Saturday. As the last of the Pro Bowl community events, it will be held at the Bishop Gorman High School in support of the NFL and American Cancer Society‘s Crucial Catch Initiative. There will also be a NFL FLAG Championship tournament for several age divisions held between Friday and Saturday at Heritage Park in Henderson, Nevada.
