Raiders draft CB Jakorian Bennett with 104th overall pick

With the 104th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders draft CB Jakorian Bennett from the University of Maryland. Bennett recorded a total of 69 tackles, 24 passes defensed, and five interceptions during his three years as a Terrapin.

After two years at Hutchinson Community College, where he was named to the 2019 All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference first team, Bennett transferred to Maryland. He became one of the top defensive backs in the Big Ten, twice garnering all-conference honorable mentions.

During the NFL Scouting Combine this year, Bennett ran a 4.3 second 40 yard dash and was marked as one of the fastest players in the 2023 draft class.

As the Las Vegas Raiders draft CB Jakorian Bennett, we should expect him to slowly fit in the starting position as the Silver and Black are in dire need of another cornerback.
