Las Vegas Raiders re-sign TE Jesper Horsted

Announced on Friday, the Las Vegas Raiders re-sign TE Jesper Horsted. Horsted spent his first three seasons in the NFL with the Chicago Bears before joining the Raiders, where he has only played for one season.

In May 2019, Chicago signed Horsted as an undrafted free agent. The 26 year old tight end played in six games as a rookie but was sent to the practice squad for the entire 2020 campaign. The next year, he was added to the 53-man roster but only managed 21 yards on two receptions in seven games.

Playing a career-high 15 games for the Raiders last season, Horsted recorded three receptions for 19 yards and made four tackles in special teams.

The Las Vegas Raiders also announced the re-signing of T Brandon Parker. The Silver and Black selected Parker in the 2018 NFL Draft at 65th overall in the third round. The 6-foot-8, 320-pound lineman has played in 54 games for the Raiders in his first five seasons, while starting 32.

The offense surely gets a bump as the Raiders re-sign TE Jesper Horsted and T Brandon Parker.
