Las Vegas Raiders sign G Greg Van Roten
Announced on Friday, the Las Vegas Raiders sign G Greg Van Roten. The 33-year-old spent the 2022–2023 NFL season with the Buffalo Bills, where he played in all 16 of the regular season games at center.
As an undrafted free agent, Van Roten made his NFL debut in 2012 with the Green Bay Packers. Since then, he has also played with the Carolina Panthers from 2017 to 2019 and the New York Jets for the 2020–2021 season.
The vet has started 54 of his 93 total game appearances in the NFL. In 2021, he started in10 of the 17 games played for the Jets. For the Panthers, Van Roten played at both guard and center across 27 games.
The Mineola, New York native spent his collegiate career at the University of Pennsylvania for four years between 2008 to 2011 and was selected to the first team All-Ivy as a senior. During his final three collegiate seasons, he started each of the 30 games for the Quakers.
