Announced Thursday, Las Vegas Raiders sign LB Jayon Brown

The Las Vegas Raiders sign LB Jayon Brown, an unrestricted free agent who played five seasons with the Tennessee Titans from 2017 through 2021. The Titans drafted the linebacker 155th overall during the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

In his career, Brown played in 66 games and started 39 while recording 382 tackles (248 solo tackles), 9.5 sacks, four picks, one pick six, 28 passes defensed, four forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries. Last season, the 6-foot, 226-pound linebacker started six games out of the 10 he played while recording 55 tackles, 35 solo tackles, one pick, and two passes defensed. His highlight season arrived in 2018 when he was a part-time starter for the Titans and tallied six sacks, 10 QB hits, eight tackles for a loss, and 97 total tackles.

Filling a need at the position, the Las Vegas Raiders sign LB Jayon Brown who is one of the better coverage linebackers in the league. The California native played four seasons with UCLA from 2013 to 2016, recording 220 tackles, three sacks, three interceptions, 15 passes defensed, one forced fumble, and four fumble recoveries.
