Announced on Thursday, the Las Vegas Raiders sign S Christopher Smith II. Smith was the 170th overall pick by the Raiders in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
The 5-foot-11, 195 pound safety played in 56 games while starting in 31 throughout his five year collegiate career at the University of Georgia from 2018 to 2022. Smith recorded 132 tackles, 87 solo tackles, six interceptions, 10 passes defensed, five tackles for loss, one sack, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.
