Raiders Sign TE Jacob Hollister

Las Vegas Raiders sign TE Jacob Hollister to active roster

Announced on Friday, the Las Vegas Raiders sign TE Jacob Hollister from the Minnesota Vikings practice squad and onto the Raiders active roster. The signing comes following the news of star tight end Darren Waller being sidelined on injured reserve for the next four games along with wide receiver Hunter Renfrow.

Vikings tight end Ben Ellefson is set to return from IR, so their need of Hollister has decreased. The Vikings can also utilize Nick Muse from their practice squad.

The six-foot-four, 245-pound Hollister played for the New England Patriots (2017-18), Seattle Seahawks (2019-20), Jacksonville Jaguars (2021), and now the Las Vegas Raiders for the 2022 season. Over the course of his six-year NFL career, the undrafted tight end from the University of Wyoming has totaled 707 yards and seven touchdowns on 87 receptions through 59 games and 12 starts.

As the Las Vegas Raiders sign TE Jacob Hollister, the sixth-year tight end should be brought up to speed very quickly with his experience as part of the Raiders training camp.
