Wide Receiver Caleb Scott Signed By Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders sign wide receiver Caleb Scott on Tuesday after spending last year with the Green Bay Packers and his first two seasons in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks.
The NFL will allow new player additions to the roster now that the pre-season is returning this year.
Caleb Scott is 6’ 2”, 203 pounds and appeared in 44 games with the Vanderbilt Commodores, starting 18 of them. He caught 67 passes for 1,011 yards during his college years. At his four years at Vanderbilt, he scored four touchdowns.
He caught 18 passes for 178 receiving yards during his senior season, which was also his final season appearing in a game. He had two receiving touchdowns this season, tying a career high.
The 25 year old has not yet played in a regular season game and will try out for the Las Vegas Raiders. We will see if Caleb Scott fits the Silver and Black.
