Raiders Sign WR Chris Lacy

Las Vegas Raiders sign WR Chris Lacy and release WR Jordan Veasy

Announced on Wednesday, the Las Vegas Raiders sign WR Chris Lacy on a contract going into the 2022 NFL season. The 6’3”, 205-pound DeSoto, Texas native played alongside former Raiders seventh round pick Marcell Ateman at Oklahoma State.

As a Pistol Pete, he spent four years at OK State and recorded five touchdowns with 63 receptions for 920 yards. He was named to the Big 12 First Team Academic All-Star team three times.

Lacy entered the league in 2018 as an undrafted free agent with the New England Patriots. He spent the previous two seasons playing with the Detroit Lions while appearing in eight games and starting two. Last season, Lacy attended training camp with the Chicago Bears but was released before the season began.

As the Raiders sign WR Chris Lacy, he will be a welcomed addition to the Raiders camp roster that includes split end receivers DaVante Adams and Mack Hollins.
