Raiders Sign WR Hunter Renfrow

Las Vegas Raiders sign WR Hunter Renfrow for two years, $32 million

The Las Vegas Raiders sign WR Hunter Renfrow to a multi-year contract extension worth $32 million. The contact is for two years and includes $21 million guaranteed.

The 5’ 10”, 185-pound wide receiver entered the first Pro Bowl of his career in 2021 after recording 103 receptions, 1,038 receiving yards, and 9 touchdown receptions with 17 games played with 9 starts. Renfrow, 26, joined Tim Brown (104 receptions in 1997) as the only wide receivers in Raiders history to record at least 100 receptions in a single season.

“We are thrilled to have reached an agreement with Hunter Renfrow and look forward to seeing him in Silver and Black for years to come,” said Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels as Raiders sign WR Hunter Renfrow. “Hunter is one of the true leaders on this team and he exemplifies the values of the organization in how he comes to work every day. He is a tremendous teammate on and off the field and the entire Raider Nation is excited to see what the future holds for Hunter.”

In the 2019 NFL Draft, the Raiders selected Renfrow with the 149th overall pick in the fifth round. The Clemson product has recorded a total of 208 receptions out of 276 targets for 2,299 yards and 15 touchdowns over three NFL seasons.

Renfrow is second in catches (208), fourth in receiving yards (2,299), and fourth in touchdowns (15) among Raiders players drafted in the fifth round or later. He’s one of just seven players taken in the fifth round or later since the NFL merger to have 200 or more receptions and 2,000 yards in his first three seasons.

As the Las Vegas Raiders sign WR Hunter Renfrow, he’ll be running and will join receivers Davante Adams and Damarcus Robinson as the top three wideouts for the Raiders this upcoming season. Carr’s got some mouths to feed.
