Las Vegas Raiders sign WR Jakobi Meyers to three-year, $33 million deal
Announced on Thursday, the Las Vegas Raiders sign WR Jakobi Meyers to a three-year contract worth $33 million and includes $21 million guaranteed. Meyers has spent his first four seasons with the New England Patriots from 2019 to 2022.
As one of the better slot receivers in the NFL, Meyers recorded 235 receptions with 2,758 yards and eight touchdowns across 60 career games and 39 starts. That marked the most career receptions and yards for an undrafted free agent for the Patriots franchise.
Last season, the 6-foot-2, 200 pound wide receiver played in 14 games while starting in 13, and totaled 67 receptions for 804 yards and six touchdowns.
In his collegiate career, Meyers, a Lithonia, Georgia native, played in 31 games for North Carolina State over the course of three seasons, finishing with 168 receptions for 1,932 yards and nine touchdowns.
As the Raiders sign WR Jakobi Meyers, coach Josh McDaniels will be reuniting with the fifth year wideout.
