Another loss in the Raiders vs Broncos Week 12 match back at home in Allegiant Stadium marks the seventh straight loss in a row for the Silver and Black. Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix threw two touchdowns while Raiders QB Gardner Minshew II threw for one along with an interception.
Following a 38 yard field goal by Denver kicker Will Lutz to put the Broncos up 3-0, the Raiders got their only touchdown of the game early in the second quarter when Minshew found running back Ameer Abdullah on a 6-yard TD play. Both Lutz and Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson traded a pair of field goals each in the second.
The Las Vegas Raiders were up 13-9 at the break. This marked the first time since Week 4 that the Raiders have started the second half with a lead. All they needed was a repeat of the first half and the curse would be broken. Sadly it was just too much to ask for, and the Broncos outscored the Raiders 20-6 in the second half with two total touchdowns and another pair of field goals.

Minshew got picked off during the Raiders first possession in the half due to Broncos edge rushers Nick Bonitto and Brandon Jones. Nix then found veteran wide receiver Courtland Sutton for a 18-yard touchdown early in the third quarter to put his team in the lead 16-13. The two connected once more in the later half of the fourth on a short 2-yard passing play to increase their lead to 10 points.
Carlson kicked in another pair of his own in the fourth quarter as well. Once again, there wasn’t enough clock for the Raiders to bounce back down two possessions with only 2 minutes left to spare.
With a 2-9 record, the Las Vegas Raiders will play another AFC West rival in Week 13. Yes, you guessed it. The Raiders will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday, November 29.
