Announced on Tuesday, the Las Vegas Raiders sign RB Darwin Thompson after playing last season with the Seattle Seahawks. The former sixth-round pick of the 2019 NFL Draft spent the 2021 season on Tampa Bay\u2019s practice squad following a two season stint with the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n
Standing at 5-foot-8 and weighing 200 pounds, Thompson played in 26 career games and accumulated 225 rushing yards, 66 carries, 108 receiving yards, 16 receptions, and three total touchdowns.<\/p>\n
The Tusla, Oklahoma native running back spent his collegiate career at both Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College<\/a> and Utah State. The 26-year-old won a Super Bowl with the Chiefs in the 2020 NFL season (LIV).<\/p>\n As the Las Vegas Raiders sign RB Darwin Thompson, they fill in a gap in the team\u2019s backfield that\u2019s currently under the injury bug, along with the questionable availability of star Josh Jacobs<\/a>.<\/p>\n
