The 2023 Raiders Training Camp will host local high school football teams and organizations
The Las Vegas Raiders designated two days at the 2023 Raiders Training Camp as part of the organization’s continued commitment to the community. 12 neighborhood high school football teams and 30 community organizations will attend the camp from July 29 to August 6.
“It’s important to us to do the right thing on the field, but also do the right thing off the field and in the community,” said Raiders Head Coach Josh McDaniels about the 2023 Raiders Training Camp. “This organization has always stood for that, and it’s been clear to me, since I set foot in this building, that that’s a priority.”
Raiders Alumni and Raiderettes were present to greet and interact with the groups, as well as to thank them for coming. Team executives and personnel, including President Sandra Douglass Morgan, were also present. The Raiders have invited local football teams and Las Vegas community organizations to watch practice at the Intermountain Health Performance Center in Henderson for the third consecutive year.
“Being able to help those kids in this area, whether its equipment or an opportunity to witness us try to do our work,” added McDaniels. “All the guys that play football know how much of a role model they become to our youth, and how important our game is to those kids. Anytime we can give back to them or help them in any way, that certainly has been a goal, it’s been very clear to me since I’ve got here.”
