NFL Network releases the NFL Top 100 Players of 2022 list

The NFL Top 100 Players of 2022 has been revealed with five players from the Silver and Black receiving the honors. Athletes around the NFL casted their votes to determine the league’s top players ahead of the 2022 regular season. Take a look at where your favorite Raiders players placed by checking the results below.

No. 65 – Derek Carr (QB)

First on the board of the NFL Top 100 Players of 2022 list is Derek Carr. Drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Carr will enter his 9th season in the NFL with a total of 31,700 passing yards, 193 touchdowns, and an overall QB rating of 92.4. Last season, the Fresno State product finished with 4,804 passing yards (the fifth most in the league), 23 touchdowns, and 108 rushing yards. This is Carr’s fourth time entering the NFL Top 100 Players list, and we expect him to land in once again following this highly anticipated season.

No. 62 – Chandler Jones (DE)

Due to a biceps injury, Chandler Jones was only able to play in five games in 2020, dropping him all the way from 15th to last place on the NFL Top 100 list of 2021. He then proved his recovery with five sacks in the first game of the season last year against the Tennessee Titans. Now, he’s bringing his defensive skill set to Vegas.

No. 59 – Maxx Crosby(DE)

Maxx Crosby’s third season in the NFL was his breakout year, producing the most number of pressures in the league with 112 total sacks, hits, and hurries combined and a pass-rushing win percentage of 27%. Over his career, Crosby has accumulated a total of 91 solo tackles, 50 assisted tackles, and 25 sacks with 160 sack yards. At number 59 of the NFL Top 100 Players of 2022, he deserves to be listed for his first time ever.

No. 58 – Darren Waller (TE)

Darren Waller has been a prime player in his position for a number of years now, recording 3,184 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns over the course of six seasons. After an injury-filled season in 2021, DW should bounce back in 2022 with no issues. Waller has now made the NFL Top 100 Players list twice and will be entering his fifth season as a Raider.

No. 7 – Davante Adams (WR)

Ever since 2016, Davante Adams has established himself as one of the elite wide receivers in the league, if not the best. With a mix of speed, size, route-running, field awareness, and catch ability, Fresno State Bulldog has led the league in receiving yards with 6,195 and receiving touchdowns with 57 over the previous five seasons. In 2021, he set a career high in receiving yards with 1,553. Adams becomes the highest ranking Raider on the list of the NFL Top 100 Players of 2022.
