Las Vegas Raiders hire Champ Kelly during his second year stint
Announced on Wednesday, the Las Vegas Raiders hire Champ Kelly as the new Raiders interim general manager following owner Mark Davis’ NFL trade deadline moves. Prior to the announcement, Anthony “Champ” Kelly was named the Assistant General Manager of the Las Vegas Raiders on February 2, 2022.
Before his time with the Raiders, Champ Kelly spent seven seasons with the Chicago Bears and eight seasons with the Denver Broncos as part of the scouting staff. In Chicago, he was promoted from director of pro scouting to Assistant Director of Player Personnel in 2017.
As the Las Vegas Raiders hire Champ Kelly as the new Raiders interim general manager, the temporary move should help add to Champ’s resume, as well as the sudden changes in the land of the Silver and Black.
