Las Vegas Raiders re-sign DT Jerry Tillery

Announced on Friday, the Las Vegas Raiders re-sign DT Jerry Tillery after being claimed through waivers last season. Last season, the 6-foot-6, 295 pound defensive lineman played in eight games while starting four and totaled 10 tackles with 8 solo tackles.

The 26-year-old Tillery was originally a first round pick at 28th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Chargers. Throughout his career, Tillery has played in 62 games and totaled 116 tackles, 65 solo tackles, 12 TFLs, 10.5 sacks, two passes defensed, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

A Shreveport, Louisiana native, the sixth year lineman played for Notre Dame for four seasons from 2015 to 2018 and played in 50 games while finishing with 135 tackles, 70 solo tackles, 13.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles.

As the Las Vegas Raiders re-sign DT Jerry Tillery, it’s nice to see the Silver and Black trusting him for another season.
