Las Vegas Raiders sign DL Adam Butler on Friday
Announced today, the Las Vegas Raiders sign DL Adam Butler to a Reserve/Future contract.
After playing for the Miami Dolphins in 2021, Butler now joins the Silver and Black. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound defensive lineman made his NFL debut with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent, playing for them between 2017 and 2020.
Butler has made 113 tackles, 63 solo tackles, 17 sacks, 22 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and 12 passes defensed over a total 80 career games and 13 starts. He was also part of the Super Bowl LIII championship team with GM Dave Ziegler and head coach Josh McDaniels at New England, where he made seven tackles, five solo tackles, two sacks, three tackles for loss, and one pass defensed.
