Las Vegas Raiders sign S Jaquan Johnson to a one-year contract

Announced on Tuesday morning, the Las Vegas Raiders sign S Jaquan Johnson to a one-year deal. Johnson joins the Silver and Black after spending four seasons with the Buffalo Bills.

In 60 career games, Johnson has made 39 tackles, 21 solo tackles, two picks, and two passes defensed. He has also added 13 special teams stops to his stat line. The safety had a career-high 25 tackles in only 16 games played last season. He also added one pick and one pass defensed.

The Miami, Florida native played in 48 games during his four years of collegiate football at Miami from 2015 to 2018. There, he recorded 252 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, eight interceptions, seven passes deflected, three recovered fumbles, and six forced fumbles. Johnson was selected to the Second Team All-ACC as a senior.

As the Las Vegas Raiders sign S Jaquan Johnson, they have added a solid piece to their defense and special teams.
