The Halloween Tent or Treat Event welcomed 200 Boys & Girls Clubs members
Last week, the Las Vegas Raiders hosted a Halloween Tent or Treat event, inviting 200 kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada clubhouses, including John C. Kish, Lied Memorial, Donald W. Reynolds, and Southern Highlands. The kids were able to trick-or-treat at the Raiders Headquarters and Intermountain Health Performance Center.
The Raiders Halloween Tent or Treat event included a Raiders pumpkin patch, where kids had the chance to check out and pick their own pumpkin. There were also inflatable obstacle courses, slides, and football drills. In addition, the Las Vegas Raiders received treats from their partners which include Frito-Lay, MARS, and Pinkbox Doughnuts.
Children were invited to stop by and enjoy sweet treats and entertaining games across 17 tents, which were decorated by the Raiderettes, the Raiders front office staff, the football team members’ families, and Raiders players quarterback Aidan O’Connell, punter AJ Cole, tight end Michael Mayer, cornerback Nate Hobbs, defensive tackle Nesta Jade Silvera, linebacker Robert Spillane, tackle Thayer Munford Jr., wide receiver Tre Tucker, and defensive end Tyree Wilson.
The Raiders and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada have collaborated to sponsor this Halloween Tent or Treat event for the past two years. They have also collaborated for a number of years to sponsor other activities, such as the Raiders Rookie Club and the introduction of the Stretch and Move program.
The clubs received invitations to game days, training camp Community Days, and other events. The Raiders have also shown support to the Boys & Girls Clubs through grants and donations.
