Las Vegas Raiders sign TE Jacob Hollister

Announced on Tuesday, the Las Vegas Raiders sign TE Jacob Hollister. The move comes after the release of former tight end O.J. Howard who had signed in the offseason. Hollister played in three games last NFL season with the Raiders on special teams.

Throughout his six-year career, Hollister has played for the New England Patriots (2017-18), Seattle Seahawks (2019-20), Jacksonville Jaguars (2021), Minnesota Vikings (2022), and the Las Vegas Raiders (2022). The 6-foot-4, 245-pound tight end has made appearances in 62 games while starting in 12. During that span Hollister tallied up 707 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 83 receptions.

In 2019, Hollister set career highs in Seattle catching 41 receptions for 349 receiving yards and three tuddies.

As the Las Vegas Raiders sign TE Jacob Hollister, coach Josh McDaniels gets back a familiar vet as the tight end played for McDaniels in 2017 and 2018 for the New England Patriots.
